Lyrics project

Here is a project we were given in which we were asked to illustrate song lyrics and write letters talking about our work. I decided to use the Prince songs; Little red Corvette, velvet kitty cat, u got the look, raspberry beret and darling Nikki. I have always been fascinated by the way that Prince can describe women in such a sexual yet respectful and admiring way. I therefore decided to illustrate the women he sings about and address my letters to them.
